Join us for an open and culturally grounded conversation on eating disorders within South Asian communities, led by Runjhun Pandit, LPCC, LPC, LMHC, founder of Wellbeing Den. This session will explore how eating disorders may look different across cultural contexts and why they are often overlooked or concealed due to stigma, family expectations, and migration-related experiences.
We’ll discuss common signs and misconceptions, the role of culture and family dynamics, and how these factors can shape relationships with food and body image. Runjhun will also share practical, culturally responsive approaches to assessment and care, highlighting pathways to support and healing that are both compassionate and effective.
Whether you are a community member, caregiver, clinician, or simply curious to learn more, this session is designed to provide a supportive space for learning, reflection, and connection.
