"Dot Dot Dot… Let It All Out" is an interactive workshop hosted by South Asian Care and led by Poonam Rahman and Saarika Rao, LCSW, designed for South Asian adults to create a safe, nurturing space to voice feelings, struggles, and stories often left unspoken. Through guided exercises, open dialogue, and group reflection, participants will explore themes of identity, belonging, and self-connection, honoring their stories, acknowledging their emotions, and building resilience to foster both collective understanding and personal growth. Saarika Rao, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California, is dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care to adolescents and adults, with extensive experience supporting individuals through life transitions, depression, anxiety, and trauma. As co-author of Dot Dot Dot: A South Asian-American Guide to Mental Health, Well-being, and Cultural Empowerment, she integrates her expertise with personal and professional insights to help South Asians redefine their relationship with culture and embrace all parts of themselves. Poonam Rahman, a mental health advocate, public speaker, and co-author of Dot Dot Dot, explores bicultural identity, emotional healing, and the South Asian experience through her work as Founder of Virtue Mental, an international mental health initiative providing free, accessible resources to empower communities. With a background in psychology and applied behavioral analysis, she is passionate about creating inclusive, reflective spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and encouraged to reconnect with themselves.
